Assistant Product Manager Hikvision (Pinnsec Midrand) Role Description

Reporting to the Brand Executive, the successful candidates will be based in Midrand and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure you adhere to the SLA as per the Hikvision ordering PPT

  • Ensure your LOT’s and Price Agreements (PA) you create is according to the Brand playbook and that all supporting documentation is filed and loaded

  • Assist Head of Brand with quotes, purchase orders, Price agreements, pricelists etc pertaining to Hikvision Brand

  • Work closely with Head of Hikvision brand on aging stock profile to ensure sell-out of the aging stock and marketing initiatives

  • Manage all PA’s for your division as well as the stock within those LOTs and PA’s to ensure aging is being kept to the minimum

  • Assistance in stock ordering through sell-out and pipeline creation

  • Executive depending on the Limits of Authority

  • Hikvision orders email to be managed by yourself and the SLA is 24hrs from receiving the email. Should the request be incomplete an email must be sent to the relevant requestor and copy in the product manager, and the sales/divisional manager

 

  • Logistics

    o Place purchase orders on Vendors once approved by Brand Executive or Head of brand depending on the limits of authority

    o Track the shipping details of all purchase orders with ETA

    o All supporting docs from the vendor linked to the purchase order must be send through to the relevant departments for processing

    o All Vendor invoicing must be signed of as per the limits of authority.

    o All shipping related costs if it exceeds 2% must be communicated and approved by Brand executive

 

  • Finance

    • All stock Received and GRV’ed must align with the payment plan to the vendor

    • Payment plan for all orders to align with ETA report data and must align with Finance

    payment plan on a weekly basis

 

  • Warehouse

    • Invoice from vendor must align with the purchase order. If inconsistencies are found, this must be corrected before stock arrives. All supporting docs to be sent to warehouse only 24hours before the stock does arrive at the warehouse

    • For stock to be GRV’ed warehouse will need a matched invoice to the purchase order, serial numbers, and material codes. All of this to be send through to receiving 24hours prior to the stock arriving

    • Be present in the warehouse with the receiving team to receipt the stock and ensure everything runs smoothly. Thereafter, when GRV’ed an email must be sent through to the relevant account managers and brand team informing them that the stock has arrived.

    • Manage all RTT collections by means of a tracking report

    • Submit the following reports to the Band Executive and Head of Brand for Hikvision:

    o ETA report – local & international indicating the open orders, eta to customs, eta to warehouse, GRV date, notification date to sales & expected payment date. To be submitted every Monday to Brand Executive & Head of Brand

    o SOH report – To be submitted every Friday to the Head of Brand

    o PA/LOT status report – Report must indicate Hik Project #, Client Name, Account manager info, product codes, quantity, and expiry date. Must monitor any changes monthly. To be submitted monthly on the last working day

    o Open/back-orders report – to be submitted weekly to Brand executive and Head of Brand on a Wednesday

    o Warehouse corrections/queries status report – To be submitted weekly on a Monday to Head of Brand

    o Sell-out report per SKU per brand – To be submitted monthly to the Head of brand

    o Pipeline report - to be submitted every Wednesday for deals you worked on

    o special orders report – Orders that we do not keep stock of. Report to indicate account manager, product code, quantity, ETA, GRV, notification date to sales & Invoice date. To be submitted on the first day of the last week of the month licensing report and invoicing status – to be submitted bi-weekly on a Tuesday code creation request form

Requirements

 

  • Matric is essential and a tertiary qualification will be an advantage
  • 2 to 3 years IT distribution experience in the sales support role
  • Vaccination Certificate Required
  • Good understanding of the security/CCTV industry in all aspects
  • 5 Years’ working experience within the security/CCTV environment
  • Previous IT distribution experience will be an advantage
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is essential
