Junior Marketing Coordinator (Marketing Midrand) Role Description

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Midrand and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Marketing co-ordination and execution of marketing activities for assigned brands
  • Event organization from comprehensive planning to following through with the execution
  • Executing on all vendor marketing activities, including events, incentives, digital campaigns, floor days etc
  • Ensure all marketing efforts achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Targeted marketing campaigns and remarketing
  • Ability to analyse sales reports and marketing activity results
  • Assisting with administrative work, budgets and adhoc items
  • Loading purchase orders on Sage and invoicing of vendors
  • PowerPoint presentations and proposals
  • Vendor claims administration and compiling proof of execution

Requirements

 

  • Matric with mathematics is essential and a Bachelor’s Degree within Marketing
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Vaccination Certificate Required
  • Own transport and valid driver’s license
  • Good time management and well organized i.e., deadline driven, able to plan and prioritize a high workload
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Copes effortlessly within a high stress and pressurized environment
  • Excellent communication, writing and people skills
  • Willing to go the extra mile and succeed
  • Basic calculations (ability to work with numbers and compile budgets excel and conduct recons)
