Technical RMA Administrator (Durban) Role Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidates will be based in Durban and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for capturing (GRV) parts on the system and parts returns
  • Monitors Supplier RMA process
  • Maintain records of RMA’s in process
  • Assist other staff members responsible for RMA process flow in overcoming issues that may impede or delay stock from being repaired or returned to Supplier
  • Ability to effectively communicate and validate RMA’s on the system
  • Responsible for monitoring, and reporting items received
  • Responsible for controlling and merchandizing of parts received,
  • Assist Technical Supervisor with RMA Aging reports / RMA Inspections
  • Responsible for stock taking and daily perpetual counting
  • Responsible for maintaining parts returns turnaround times to avoid penalties
  • Booking of all jobs and returns
  • Client feedback on repairs
  • Follow up on outstanding jobs and spares

Requirements

 

  • Matric with mathematics is essential and relevant tertiary qualification
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ RMA experience (Suppliers Reverse Logistics)
  • Vaccination Certificate Required
  • Experience working within Reverse Logistics or RMA center environments
  • Thorough knowledge of Accounting processes and procedures that pertain to RMA
  • Strong teamwork capabilities including the ability to effectively work with leadership, peers, and other internal individuals by making sure Parts return follows a defined process in a timely manner
  • Proven account management experience preferred
  • Proven skills with MS Excel in order to successfully execute Returns Turnaround times
  • Strong knowledge of RMA best practices and methodologies
  • Work condition requires sitting, standing, walking, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, Emailing and other office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Own transport and valid driver’s license
  • Good time management and well organized i.e. deadline driven, able to plan and prioritize a high workload
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
