ERP Training Facilitator

Role Description

Location: Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa

Full-time and Office based

Reporting: ERP & SAGE Manager

Job Purpose

As an ERP Training Facilitator, you will facilitate and deliver learning programs, providing performance enhancing opportunities for employees. The role incorporates training, end user support, troubleshooting and testing ERP and Digital Transformation applications.

This role provides services and support related to the ERP software and digital transformation integrations within the Company, maintaining relevant procedures and standards and to ensure that systems are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Training and Development
• Prepare Online Content for training purposes
• Update Training Content aligned with change request implementation
• Facilitate training sessions
• Provide well-directed instruction and facilitation to employees
• Become the Subject Matter Expert for assigned product, including deep product knowledge
and domain business knowledge
• Create learning materials to be used as tools to enhance the learning experience e.g.,
PowerPoint, video clips, training manuals, playbooks
• Provide feedback on learning content delivery quality and product quality into business for
continual improvements
• Constantly manage constructive feedback from business partners, peers, colleagues
• Responsible for management of learning environment processes, technology, and provisioning
• Deep understanding of the meaning of a High-Performance Learning Journey
• Deliver learning events, interventions and programmes aligned to business and learning needs
• Take ownership of end-to-end learning experience to provide a positive learning experience in which learners are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process and achieve learning goals
• Provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders on training outcomes
• Business Process and Systems Alignments
• Ensuring that information is shared between branches and retained
• Procedural information is communicated to all branches
• Business process changes must be updated in accordance with system updates/ changes
• Manage calls logged with Helpdesk
• Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support
• Ensure that calls are closed within the SLA times
• Update all calls daily (informing the business of the status of their calls)
• Ensure that the answers to unusual problems are saved
• Assists the ERP Manager when required
• Improving on User Access Management (new users, change requests and terminations) with a focus on our internal new user audit

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within an IT/ Distribution environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Sage/Related ERP systems and providing support and training to users
• Sage certifications will be beneficial
• Minimum of 3 years experience in learning and facilitation will be an advantage
• Experience in conducting training needs analysis and co-ordinating all relevant information is essential
• Excellent knowledge of adult learning and must be able to demonstrate exceptional facilitation/ teaching skills for adult within the workplace
• Experience with Microsoft Office, eLearning, and virtual learning technologies
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Basic understanding of programming concepts
• Sage (any of the modules would be beneficial)

• Experience in Liaison (establish effective personal contact/channel for Communication between parties)

 

Skills and Education:

• Matric is essential
• Adult education degree/ diploma or equivalent experience (Advantageous)
• Qualification related to compiling outcome-based assessments and training material
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver training and presentations to the Company
• Be able to work in a large and challenging IT environment with the ability to cope effortlessly within a high-stress and pressurized environment
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
