Graphic Desinger Role Description

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidates will be based in Midrand and will be responsible for the following: 

Key Responsibilities


  • Design work including print, mailers, web banners & other custom designed artwork, PPT presentations, corporate branding and documentation using design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign 
  • Conceptualize design brief and concepts as needed based on Pinnacle’s internal client needs and vision - in line with Pinnacle corporate identity as well as brand/vendor guidelines 
  • Keeping time and production constraints in mind, deliver design briefs within stipulated turnaround time – tracked on task sheet 
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about design progress of projects and timelines 
  • Work with suppliers from time to time on concept and visuals or other marketing-related material for print or publishing 
  • Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/color codes before being distributed 
  • Work on multiple briefs at the same time e.g. mailers, video production, product photos as well as presentations etc. 
  • Manage task sheet tracker of all workloads daily

  • Matric with mathematics is essential and relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design 
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position 
  • Photoshop/Illustrator Skills/InDesign experience 
  • Experience in email marketing platforms 
  • Demonstrate skills of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign 
  • Mindful of client’s needs and the time and costs associated with what you will be delivering 
  • Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver 
  •  Own transport and valid driver’s license 
  • Good time management and well organized i.e., deadline driven, able to plan and prioritize a high workload 
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
