Internal Account Manager Role Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Midrand and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Receive, confirm and validate orders
  • Processing of orders and quoting
  • Confirm Pricing and Price Agreements with the KAM and Brand
  • Product listing on all new deals
  • Management of existing listing and updating EOL
  • Attending to retail sales team telephone calls
  • Assisting externals when required
  • Confirm all rejection on new stock from stores before arrival at Pinnacle
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Understand and assist with all operations and logistical problems
  • Interact, coordinate and assist warehouse
  • Maintaining and updating the filing system
  • Create and maintain data control sheets of all incoming orders, start to end
  • Order tracking
  • Follow up and communicate with RTT on deliveries and arrange collections
  • Assisting with customer complaints that are not being resolved by technical
  • Assist Debtors with RTM’s POD’s etc.
  • Assisting the retail team with all Administrative work
  • Interact, coordinate and assist with warehouse
  • Understand and assist with all operations and logistical problems
  • Effectively prioritize the retail workload and manage time 

Requirements

 

  • Matric with mathematics is essential, a Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification and/or a relevant diploma will be an advantage
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ working experience in a sales environment is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IT industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Above average administration skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Spreadsheet knowledge in drawing up and utilizing reports (stock management, product reordering, ageing stock etc)
  • Meeting set departmental targets
  • Relevant technical knowledge and passion for technology
  • Ability to complete a task with minimum supervision
