Role Description

Location: Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa

Full-time and Office based

Reporting: Marketing Executive

Job Purpose

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns for the Company.

The successful candidate will collect data about target demographics and analyze market trends to improve the Company's marketing efforts on a set of brands.

Key functions would include tracking sales data and working with Brand teams to achieve marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Marketing planning and execution on marquee brands
• Create and execute GTM action plans for key Brands.
• Responsible for full and comprehensive organizing and planning of events, following through with execution to ensure events run smoothly and professionally as required.
• Execute on all vendor marketing activities, including sales-driven initiatives, demand generation, events, incentives, digital campaigns, floor days, etc.
• Identify and execute improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
• Drive and support sales for brands – including content building and reseller enablement messaging.
• Drive and implement targeted marketing campaigns and remarketing that result in ROI.
• Conduct Market Research, analyzing results and sell-out reports.
• Complete Vendor claims administration and Proof of Execution reporting.
• Complete various departmental tasks for marketing of the company, as and when required.
• Load purchase orders on Sage and ensure accurate invoicing of vendors/suppliers.
• Record and publish meeting minutes.
• Create and review PowerPoint presentations & write proposals.

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

• 3-5 years’ proven experience in a Marketing role and executing on marketing plans
• A minimum of 2-3 years working experience of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience planning and organizing corporate marketing events
• A minimum of 1 year experience in supplier management including working with suppliers,
negotiating and sourcing quotes
• A minimum of 2 years preparing professional written communication and PowerPoint presentations
• A minimum of 1 years experience with research and using data analytics to understand
effectiveness and campaign success/measures
• Solid knowledge of the workings of a variety of Social Media Platforms
• Experience using vendor portals for marketing plan submission and claiming will be an advantage

Skills and Education:

• Matric with mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is preferred.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint skills.
• Skilled at using a variety of Social Media Platforms.
• Ability to complete basic calculations, to work with numbers, and create budgets.
• Developed Negotiation skills.
• Excellent written communication skills (detail orientated no grammar or spelling issues).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
